Wooden doors can be classified into many types based on material, craftsmanship, and usage. Widely applicable to residential and commercial buildings, including European retro style, minimalist modern style, American style, Mediterranean style, Chinese style, French romantic style, and Italian style.
Classification of wooden doors
1. Solid wood composite doors: The door core is often made by bonding pine, fir, or imported filling materials. Externally pasted with density board and solid wood veneer, made by high-temperature hot pressing, and sealed with solid wood lines. Generally, high-end solid wood composite doors have high-quality white pine as the core and solid wood veneer as the surface. Due to the low density, light weight, and easy control of water content of white pine, the weight of finished doors is relatively light and not easily deformed or cracked. In addition, solid wood composite doors also have characteristics such as temperature resistance, impact resistance, and flame retardancy, and the sound insulation effect is basically the same as solid wood doors.
2. Solid wood door: It is made by using natural logs from the forest as the door core, drying them, and then scientifically processing them through cutting, planing, tenoning, drilling, high-speed milling, and other processes.
3. Full wooden door: It uses natural raw wood as the door core, and the balance layer uses plywood instead of density board; In terms of craftsmanship, it has the natural characteristics and environmental friendliness of raw wood, solves the instability of raw wood in craftsmanship, and has more diverse and delicate shapes.
Technological Process
The raw material boards (with a moisture content of about 60-70%) that enter the factory are loaded into a drying kiln for steaming and drying. The texture and thickness of the board are different, and the temperature, time, and stable time for spraying and steaming are also different in different seasons. The general steaming time is about 15 minutes, and the heating and drying time is about 25-30 days.
The moisture content of the dried board is about 10-14%. The steam used for spraying and heating is provided by the newly installed 4th coal-fired steam boiler in the project. During the heating and drying process, according to the control requirements of the process technology, it is necessary to open the moisture discharge window of the drying kiln from time to time to discharge the steam inside the drying kiln
2. Cutting:
(1) When rough cutting, increase the length and width by 10mm each; (Requires adjustment)
(2) If cutting in combination, indicate the wood veneer material and specify the type of door combination.
3. Group Frame
(1) Square corners with an increase of 10mm in length and width;
(2) The width specification of the outer frame is 800-2000MM, the surface board is 6MM medium density board, and the middle is filled with Shaoerlante hollow decorative board;
(3) Add locking wood or lock box;
(4) When assembling frames, such as glass doors, determine the size and position of the glass;
(5) After the skeleton is treated to prevent deformation, it is flattened by the upper press machine.
4. Hot pressing process standard
(1) Before placing the workpiece that needs to be hot pressed, the hot pressing plate and workpiece must be cleaned thoroughly to confirm that there are no impurities. The hot pressing temperature and pressure should be set, and the workpiece should be slowly placed in;
(2) The workpieces placed should be arranged in an orderly manner to ensure even stress distribution in all parts;
(3) Every time hot pressing, try to fill all positions as much as possible, and ensure that the thickness of each layer of board is the same as the covering material of each layer. The covering materials cannot overlap. If they cannot be filled, use spare pads of the same thickness as the workpiece to fill them;
(4) To prevent the glue from drying out, each feeding should be completed within two minutes. Only after confirming the correctness and safety, can the machine be started
(5) The surface of the workpiece after pressurization should be flat, smooth, without any bumps or particles when touched by hand;
(6) Spelling should be aligned;
(7) After covering, the wooden door shall not come loose, penetrate the glue, stack and detach from the core, scratch, indentation, bump, misplacement, oil stains, and the color shall be basically the same
5. Cold pressing process standard
(1) The cold pressing time should be determined according to the temperature to ensure that the adhesive layer is cured and the bonding is firm;
(2) After pressurization, the surface of the component should be flat, smooth, without any bumps or graininess when touched by hand.
6. Edge cutting precision
(1) The cutting error shall not exceed the cutting standard of 0.2mm;
(2) Before placing the workpiece, the pressure plate and workpiece should be cleaned thoroughly;
(3) The inserted workpiece must not be misaligned, aligned with the core board vertically, and must not have any debris or chips;
(4) The two sides of the door leaf should be tilted at 2 degrees, and the rest should be sawed into straight edges without scratches or dents.
7. Process standard for milling door core board
(1) When milling the door core board, the feeding force should be uniform and there should be no debris;
(2) Smooth and round appearance;
(3) Milling according to proportion, accurate size, and no fragmentation.
8. Handmade skinning
(1) When applying white latex to the skin, it must be dried for the first time and then brushed a second time before being ironed flat;
(2) The flat strip shall be shoveled with wood;
(3) After pasting, there should be no gaps, delamination, bubbling, or cracking of the veneer.
9. Lock holes and hinge holes
(1) Pay attention to the opening direction of the door;
(2) Pay attention to the upper and lower ends of the door and do not turn around;
(3) There shall be no debris or scratches, and special molds and clamps shall be used to clamp before drilling.
10. Trial installation
(1) The door decoration line should be tightly connected at the corners and should not be separated from the seams;
(2) The door leaf and door frame are tightly fitted, flat, and must not be separated from the seam
(3) The door leaf must not have any gaps or shaking
11. Paint
(1) Before polishing, it is necessary to inspect the white blank, and do not process products that have come loose, bubbled, scratched, or damaged
(2) The white blank needs to be polished smooth, and the nail holes and gaps need to be filled tightly;
(3) The primer needs to be sprayed evenly and checked for delamination and bubbling. After drying, it should be polished
(4) When spraying the topcoat, there should be no particles, sagging, peeling, or gloss that meets customer requirements.
12. Packaging and storage
(1) Carefully check if the door leaf and door frame are not fully matched and if the quality is qualified. Unqualified products must not be packaged and shipped out of the factory. It is strictly prohibited to have color errors or omissions, and products should be handled with care
(2) Before packaging, the adhesive marks and impurities on the working surface should be removed, and wrapped with packaging film. The four door corners should be protected with corrugated paper;
(3) Label and fill in the storage form after entering the warehouse
13. Installation
(1) After confirming the correctness of the opening and door, perform assembly, vertical alignment, glue fixation, and installation of the door leaf;
(2) The door frame and wall should be sealed with glass glue, and more glue should be applied below the door frame to prevent excessive water from entering the door frame
