【Furniture leather knowledge】Leather tanning process

The leather making process of furniture leather will go through four processes: fur, blue leather, leather embryo, and finished leather. If we break it down a little, it can be divided into more than 20 processes.
1. Slaughtering and pickling
2. Soaking, fleshing, depilation, liming, degreasing, softening, pickling, tanning
3. Splitting, shaving, neutralization, dyeing, fattening, drying
4. Grinding, finishing, embossing, ironing, trimming, and packaging
Some processes are time-sensitive and time is incompressible. Then each process may have an irreversible impact on the quality of the finished leather in the later stage. Every drum of good leather will be the result of the right time, right place, and right people, and it cannot be guaranteed that every batch can reach a certain level stably.
To give an example in life, making leather is like cooking. The same chef, the same stove, and the same materials, fry 10 dishes, there are one or two that are particularly delicious, five or six that are just average, and one or two that are OK.
